I stumbled on WordPress out of the need to earn better income. Back in the day, from Google, I found a URL shortener that paid but no longer functional. I tried everything positive to earn and cash out from linkbucks.com but it was really really difficult. From there, I began building my own small website with the free WordPress.com.
I tried hard not to bow to the pressure (from within) to upgrade afterall I hadn’t earned anything from the whole WordPress game so why upgrade to be able to use plugins. All these happened about nine years ago. However, I realized that my interest to build something on WordPress began to grow and from there I started thinking, “hey, I could be the next or better Mark Zuckerberg!”. That was when my real drive to build a social network came from. But I wanted to build something unique and something that helps to solve major world problems like unemployment. This finally led to gzi.me, a social network that rewards users as they connect with friends and family and it is hosted on WPMUDEV.
After several ups and downs and payment for hosting, and to site users, here’s the final relaunch coming up today 🙂
